Joanolasco: Projections of the Momentary and Eternal: Alt Art 2026: Discoveries
The exhibition is part of an ongoing exploration of the relationship or conversation that occurs between the sky and what is found on the ground, created through dichotomies in a series of paintings. The self is simultaneously engaging in that conversation, empathizing with the surroundings as a way of finding identity and assurance of belonging no matter the location, time, or events. It implies themes of oneness and interconnectedness. If everything can allude to anything, our dreams and experiences can be reflected (or perhaps, projected) as well.
This is an attempt at eternalizing the self through momentary things that extend beyond the self.
